Growing

Seriously I need time to stop it. Its going way too fast and I want to just press the pause button. My baby girl is growing up so so fast and it kills me/ makes me so excited for what is to come. It's very bittersweet but mostly just sweet. She is seriously the most chill lil babe ever, well minus her recent adventure of getting teeth.  4 months seems early to teethe... no?

Nursery!

Ok so this one is a long time coming :)

My Momma and sister helped me create the most adorable room for little Ily and I seriously LOVE it! When I was first dreaming up the nursery, I was thinking Modern and bright colors like orange and yellow but once I ordered the bedding.... and a print I loved off etsy, I started to have MAJOR doubts. It just seemed WAY to busy and bold and I thought I would tire of it real fast.

So after my freak out and my mom returning the bedding, I decided to go with a more nuetral palate. I loved all the rooms I saw on pintrest that were clean white and cream. They felt so dreamy to me. So I decided to stick to creams and whites using fresh linen and vintage lace. 

Here is how it turned out :)

Got this pouf at home goods!! 

the lace is applied with liquid starch and the writing is done with sidewalk chalk! All apartment friendly :)

An iphone update

So bad at this blogging thing, but I am trying to get better so that family from far away can keep up to speed on how fast Ily is growing and changing. I can't believe she is 5 weeks old, where does time go? I feel like I just got home from the hospital yesterday! 


Anywho, I have been so terrible at taking pictures on our new camera and have fallen prey to the easy iphone pics. I am in love with the instagram app and those of you who are friends with me on there prolly are getting sick of the Ily pics.
