With a lot of my friends preggo right now.... I have started to think babies and gifts and when we will have a second one.... and then I reign in the thoughts, our second won't be for a while prolly... but I am going through all of ily's gear and putting things up in the attic and selling some stuff that I didn't love so I wanted to document my favorites that we will be using and keeping for the next little meeh, Lord willing :) 

1. The boon highchair.. yes it's kinda modern but oh is it nice. Cleans so easily and rolls which is so convenient . I bought the white seat insert so its not so orange. 

2. Grass drying rack... amazing for bottles, sippys and everything in between. also cute on the counter :)

3. Ily has been taking this since 4 months. Its SOOO good for babies (and adults) and nutrient rich.

4. I bought the bjorn and I regretted it. I had a gift card and then bought the ergo. CHANGED MY LIFE. so comfy and I loved wearing her in it for quick trips in the store or at church or on a walk. It could almost replace my stroller. 

5. Jellycat stuffed animals. They are sooooo soft and cuddly. Ily particularly loves this fox. 

6. Little Giraffe blankies. Ily HAS to have these. literally cant fall asleep without them. its quite unfortunate (her first one was a shower gift) that they are $44 a piece. but there is no getting around it and they are quite soft. 

7. Shea Moisture baby wash. I love this stuff and I can't find it anywhere anymore. We are on our last drops :(  If you see it in target. I will literally pay you double for it! its amazing. 

8. The Sophie teether. Don't get me wrong, I love regular Sophie... but this teether always ended up with Ily. She liked it better for some reason. 

9. Swaddleme. These are incredible for swaddling. I loved the Aiden and Annai muslin for newborn but these just stay in place when they get a lil bigger and wiggle out. Ily slept in one for 5 months. 

10. Baby Jogger City Select. We had the Orbit Baby system and LOVEd it but switched to this because it can be a double one day when we will need it. It's an awesome stroller and the basket is amazingly huge.

The list could go on but keeping it to my staples. 

Summer don't go.

It has been such an amazing summer in San Diego. So much sun and wonderful beach weather. We have moved and settled into our new little place. Loving living within a 5 minute drive from my family and the beach. Dan and I are feeling so very blessed at how the Lord has provided for us in such wonderful ways. More than we could have asked for.... Ily is the biggest blessing of all. She is such a lil personality. Always saying Hi to everyone in the grocery store, at the beach.. it doesn't matter. Just loves saying hi and getting a response from people. She loves to dance and watch herself in the mirror. Her fake laugh is so great right now.. she throws her head back and laughs if she wants you to know she thinks its funny. I LOVE this stage... I know I say that about every stage but it just keeps getting better and better, I guess until the teenage years when they hate you. haha.

Sand ends up everywhere in the summer. Bathingsuit... mouth.. car... car seat.. bathtub.. bed... But its oh so worth it. this girl LOVEs playing at the beach! Reminds me of childhood and how all our summers were spent at the beach. I now get why my mom loved it so much. Free entertainment, a tan, enjoy the cool ocean, and then take home some tired babies to nap!

Nine to Twelve.

Ok I know I am so late since Ily is almost 14 months old now... but better late than never. Dan is really loving putting together these videos and I love that we will always have the memories since I am terrible at pictures. He is always thinking and has our camera on hand at all times. LOVE my sweet hub and how he adores his girls. Here is his most recent one of months 9-12

Crazy month

This has been one crazy crazy month! Dan has been interviewing with San Diego Companies in hopes of a career switch and we were very very hopeful that he would get a job. However, the job didn't come through due to budget issues at the company and we were really bummed. The same day he got the call saying "we can't hire you right now", our landlord gave us a 30-day notice! YikES! We were stressed to say the least. But after weeks of trusting the Lord and talking to our NUTTY landlady. We get to stay put. (And by nutty I mean super crazy-she has a cat psychic come over to see why her cat is limping :) Well we lucked out because she is a MAJOR believer in Karma and thought she would have bad karma if she kicked us out with nowhere to go. Needless to say, Dan and I grew a ton in this time. Learned to trust in the Lord and that life is really out of our control. Thanks for all of you who prayed for us. The Lord is faithful. On another note, I was playing around on photoshop again... why is it so confusing... And came up with a new blog design. The other one really confused me. Ily is getting so so big. It's sad. Seriously time flies when your having fun. I love just hangin with my little buddy all day, never ever gets old.

been a while...

So it's been some time since I blogged. I have a little free time while Ily naps :) 

Crazy to think the last time I checked this was Halloween! Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years have passed and time feels like it's slipping through my fingers. We made it out to Texas to see family and it was so so fun... ily did great on the plane and it was so awesome to have dan with me this time to help and take turns. 

Ily has gotten so big... crawling, eating solids, and already pulling herself up on things she shouldn't.
