Seriously... this is why I am so excited for a baby girl! Hucklebones is amazingly adorable and I can't wait till she is old enough to wear this stuff!

Photo shoots

So my sista is learning lots of good things these days, including photo-shop, set design and working with a really nice camera... all of which got me excited to take advantage of her when the babes comes :) I learned from a family friend that the first 12 days of the babes life is the best time to take pics because the babies are so moldable and they basically sleep the whole time. I cannot wait to meet this little nugget and annoy her with our new camera. ( We got a super nice Cannon rebel for Christmas!)

inspiration to get crafting

ok so I picked a crib, bedding and a general theme i am going with in our lil beans nursery, and I wanted to do something semi creative and crafty to hang on the walls in her room. I was originally inspired by the quail bridal look book shoot where michelle had a friend make paper flowers that adorned the walls and were oh so fun! She even gave me the big white ones with yellow centers before she moved her studio. 

Then in my research as to how to actually make these things I came across an amazing tutorial from Martha Stewart and artist Eloise Corr Danch.

Lemme say one talented lady. Here is some of her work... INCREDIBLE... wish she had more tutorials online :)

Orbit!

Made my biggest purchase for the babes yet! My amazing stroller system, the orbit, and I am so stinking excited. I got a killer deal and met a lady from Craigslist and her stroller was in mint condition for being 2 years old. Paid $400 for a $1500 dollar system. It will go from when she is a newborn and sleeping all the time, to the toddler years.  I spent all day with my momma washing all the upholstery and polishing her up. So excited to see my lil girl in this thing and every time I go in her room and see it I just smile and tell her to hurry it up and come already.

LOVE the bassinet! It can go on the stroller when the babe is sleeping or you can leave it on the rocker and keep it at home. The car seat to the stroller is so light and easy to move, the two dads who started orbit baby were so smart! 

Christmas and pregnant... really?

Ok so usually at this time of the year, post thanksgiving and going into the calorie filled Christmas time, I am struggling to feel stylish and comfortable :) Add pregnancy on top of that, and I am a lil desperate. 

I want this outfit to just be in. cute, but oh so comfy. Is it too late to make my wishlist?
